What is your name and where are you from?
Kerry O’Donnell and I’m from Salem, Oregon.
What is your job title at DVS, and what are your day-to-day responsibilities?
I’m the new Sales Director at DVS. My role involves overseeing all sales efforts and managing our channel relationships. Day-to-day, I’m focused on expanding our market reach, supporting our partners, and ensuring our sales strategy aligns with the company’s goals.
What is your background in contact centers or the industry?
I’ve spent over 20 years in contact center software sales, working with some of the industry’s leading companies like NICE inContact, Kana (now Verint), eGain, and RightNow Technologies (now part of Oracle). That experience has given me a strong foundation in customer engagement and contact center technology.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Definitely building out the business! Whether that’s growing our sales presence, forging new partnerships, or finding new ways to deliver value to our customers. I enjoy the process of taking something with potential and helping it grow.
What are you most looking forward to about joining DVS?
I’m looking forward to working with the team. There’s a lot of talent here, and I’m excited to collaborate with people who are passionate about what they do.
What are some of your best skills?
I’d say organizational skills and territory building. I’ve always been able to create structure, set clear priorities, and build up markets in strategic ways.
What makes you successful?
Relationships. Whether it’s internal collaboration, customer engagement, or working with partners, success always comes down to the quality of the relationships you build and maintain.
What do you do outside of work?
I love being outdoors. I spend time gardening, hiking, doing home renovations, and really just enjoy anything that gets me outside.
