DVSAnalytics Employee Spotlight: Dave McKendrick

At DVSAnalytics, we believe great people are the foundation of our success. In this month’s employee spotlight, we’re excited to introduce Dave McKendrick, a seasoned professional who recently joined our team as an Account Executive.

What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Dave McKendrick. I grew up in Alaska and have lived in Utah since coming here for school.

What is your job title at DVS, and what are your day-to-day responsibilities?

I’m an Account Executive at DVSAnalytics. My day-to-day includes working closely with partners and customers to understand their needs, demonstrate how our solutions can help, and guide them through the buying process. I focus on building strong relationships, delivering tailored product demos, and ensuring a smooth sales cycle from start to finish.

What is your background in contact centers or the industry?

I’ve been in the telecom and technology industry for over 25 years, with 14 years dedicated to hosted voice and contact center solutions. Before joining DVS, I spent 8 years at Xima Software, where I sold reporting, recording, and analytics tools designed to improve contact center performance. I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to enhance customer experience and streamline operations in this space.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of the job is solving real problems for real people. I enjoy showing customers how our software can reduce stress, improve efficiency, and help them get the most out of their teams, all while delivering a better customer experience. 

What are you most looking forward to about joining DVS?

What I’m most looking forward to at DVS is continuing to work with products I truly believe in and being part of a team that’s passionate about delivering value to our customers.

What are some of your best skills?

I’m great at building trust quickly and delivering effective demos that highlight the value of our solutions. I’ve also led many sales and technical training sessions for both partners and customers. I enjoy helping others learn how to position and sell products successfully.

What makes you successful?

Consistency, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help are a big part of my success. I have a dynamic personality and a strong ability to connect with people. I ask good questions, listen closely, and approach every relationship with a long-term mindset. I also thrive in team environments and really enjoy collaborating with others to get the job done right.

What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I’ve coached high school mountain biking for the past 13 years, and I’ve also coached lacrosse and basketball. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me on a trail with my mountain bike or out in my Jeep. I love spending time with my family, whether we’re at home, in the mountains, or on the lake.
